Project Overview
The Acquire App project involved a significant redesign and the introduction of a new subscription feature, aimed at enhancing the user experience during checkout. As the lead designer, my role encompassed UI/UX design, interaction design, prototyping, and user testing. The challenge was to integrate the subscription seamlessly into the existing app while aligning with the brand's revamped identity. This initiative was focused on improving user engagement and supporting business growth, positioning Acquire App as a user-centric and versatile tool in its market.
Research Process
I employed a comprehensive strategy to align the new subscription feature with user needs and business objectives. This involved conducting in-depth interviews and surveys with current users to understand their experiences and preferences, especially regarding the checkout process. A detailed market analysis was performed, examining competitor apps for insights into subscription model trends and user engagement strategies. Additionally, stakeholder interviews with the Acquire App team were crucial in aligning the feature with broader business goals and the brand’s vision. This multifaceted research approach was pivotal in identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for differentiation, ensuring that the subscription integration was both user-friendly and strategically beneficial for the app's growth.

Design Process
Solution
I detail the strategic and innovative design decisions made to address the insights and challenges uncovered during the research and analysis phase. This part of the portfolio showcases how the new subscription feature was seamlessly integrated into the existing app interface, enhancing the checkout process and aligning with both user expectations and business goals. The solution represents a culmination of user-centered design principles, technical feasibility, and brand alignment, all coming together to create a coherent and impactful user experience. Here, I highlight the specific design choices, from the streamlined user flow to the visual and interactive elements, which collectively contribute to a successful implementation of the subscription feature in the Acquire App.

Outcome and Impact
The feedback around the new subscription feature were highly positive. Post-launch metrics indicated a significant increase in user engagement with the subscription feature, signaling that the integration was both intuitive and valuable to the users. Feedback from users reflected a high level of satisfaction with the redesigned checkout process, noting its ease and clarity. From a business perspective, the addition of the subscription feature led to a noticeable uptick in sign-ups, contributing substantially to the app’s revenue growth. This success not only validated the user-centric design approach but also demonstrated the effectiveness of aligning product development closely with both user needs and business objectives. The project marked a pivotal step in enhancing the overall user experience and strengthening the market position of the Acquire App.
Up & Running.
This was an interesting project for the simple reason that an order confirmation page is nothing new. With many designs readily available and being used, it was challenging to find a unique way to communicate with our audience in a way that's never been done before. That was the fun part and it paid off.
