User Interview Surveys
This step involved creating detailed questionnaires and conducting one-on-one interviews to delve into users' habits, preferences, and frustrations. The questions were tailored to understand the specific needs and expectations users have from an agricultural website. This direct engagement provided qualitative data, offering insights into user behavior and preferences.
03
Usability Testing
Early prototypes were tested with a small group of users to observe their interactions and gather feedback. This involved tasks like finding specific information or navigating to different sections of the website. The objective was to identify any usability issues or barriers in the user experience. This iterative process was crucial for refining the design.
02
Competitor Analysis
I systematically evaluated competitor websites, focusing on their design, content, user flow, and unique features. This included analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, and understanding their approach to user engagement and content presentation. The goal was to identify best practices and potential areas where Sarumoh Farms' website could differentiate itself.

Analytics Review
Here, I used data from existing projects to understand user behavior patterns. This involved analyzing metrics like page views, bounce rates, and user paths. The aim was to glean insights into what users find engaging and where they might encounter issues or drop off. This data-driven approach informed decisions on layout, content placement, and feature prioritization.
Insights:
The combination of qualitative insights from user interviews and quantitative data from analytics painted a comprehensive picture of user needs. Users sought clarity and ease of navigation, with a preference for visually appealing yet informative content. During this phase, I identified and optimized key touchpoints to enhance user experience and engagement. This step was essential for guiding users seamlessly from their initial interest to actions like making an inquiry. By focusing on user needs at each stage, the design effectively facilitated user interaction and supported the farm's business goals by encouraging desired actions and deepening user engagement with the brand.

Colors
The visual elements of Sarumoh Farms' branding exhibit a vibrant and organic aesthetic that reflects the brand's connection to agriculture and sustainability. The logo features a stylized representation of what appears to be green leaves or crops, arranged in a circular pattern that suggests growth and vitality. The use of a clean, sans-serif typeface for the word "Sarumoh" conveys modernity and professionalism, while the word "Farms" grounds the brand with a sense of tradition and reliability.
The color palette is rich and earthy, with a deep green that speaks to the natural aspects of farming and a contrasting orange that adds a dynamic, energetic quality to the brand. This orange might also symbolize the sunrise, hinting at new beginnings and the daily renewal associated with farm life. The background options shown - a vivid orange, a fresh green, and a lush photograph of ferns - all reinforce the brand's commitment to natural, farm-fresh products. Each backdrop serves to make the white and orange of the logo stand out, ensuring the brand's visibility across various applications. The additional color strip, with its gradient from green to orange, further emphasizes the natural cycle and harmony that Sarumoh Farms represents.

Low Fidelity Designs
In the low fidelity design phase, I focused on sketching out the basic layout and structure of the website. This involved creating wireframes that outlined the placement of elements like navigation bars, content sections and CTAs. The aim was to establish a clear, logical flow of information without getting bogged down in visual details. These sketches served as blueprint for the site's organization, ensuring that user needs were at the forefront of the design process. This stage was crucial for iterating quickly and getting early feedback on the overall structure and user flow.

Up & Running.
This was an interesting project for the simple reason that an order confirmation page is nothing new. With many designs readily available and being used, it was challenging to find a unique way to communicate with our audience in a way that's never been done before. That was the fun part and it paid off.
